Our Story: A Journey of Love and Adventure

Welcome to Honeymoon Express Vintage Boutique the first flag ship store located in Midland, Ontario, Canada. Our story begins in 1973 when Sandy and Lynda tied the knot at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Midland. This town holds special significance, as Lynda's father served as the mayor for two terms and was in office during the Pope's visit to Martyrs' Shrine. Their honeymoon was not just a trip; it was an adventure that would forever shape their lives and inspire ours. They set out in a converted late 60s Chevy bus, embracing the freedom of the open road as they traveled across three countries over seven unforgettable months. Their journey began in Canada, where they soaked in the beauty of the outdoors. As they headed south, they drove along the iconic Route 66, taking in the sights and sounds of this legendary highway. In California, they visited family, including Lynda's uncle. This visit created cherished memories as they connected with loved ones. They also explored the majestic Redwood Forest and marveled at the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon, where nature's beauty left a lasting impression. Their adventure didn’t stop there. With hearts full of wanderlust, they crossed into Tijuana, Mexico, where they stayed with friends and immersed themselves in the vibrant culture of the region. Each mile traveled was a testament to their love, curiosity, and the freedom that comes with exploration. After their seven-month honeymoon, they settled near the sandy shores of beautiful sunny Allenwood Beach, ON where they raised six children, instilling in them the same spirit of adventure that defined their journey.
