Our Story
Honeymoon Express Vintage Boutique is proudly rooted in Midland, Ontario — a town deeply connected to our family’s history.
Our story begins in 1973, when Sandy and Lynda were married at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. Lynda was the daughter of Al Roach, who later served as Mayor of Midland in the 1980s. His dedication to the community helped shape the values our family carries today.
Instead of a traditional honeymoon, Sandy and Lynda converted a late-60s Chevy bus into a home on wheels and spent seven months exploring North America — from Route 66 and the Redwood Forest to the Grand Canyon and Mexico. Their journey was filled with adventure, connection, and stories that became the foundation of our family.
They later settled near Allenwood Beach, raising six children and passing down their spirit of curiosity and courage.
That legacy lives on at Honeymoon Express Vintage Boutique — where we celebrate nostalgia, exploration, and timeless pieces with stories stitched into every seam.

Love the feel of Honeymoon Express. It's the first gently used second hand clothing store I've been in that is clean and tidy. Most impressive was the fact that when I walked into the store I was not overwhelmed with either the crazy overpowering smell of laundry detergent or the stale musty smell of ick! If I lived closer, Honeymoon Express would become a regular stop!
